There will be mementos but no prizes

RACE CANCELLED
Due to last minute Police intervention and the imposition of requirements (which ultimately could affect all road races in the County of Gloucestershire) that cannot be met in the available timeframe, we have had to take the decision to cancel the race.
This decision has been taken in the best interests of the club and its road races, and also for the future of all road races in the County.
We are attempting to resolve the situation we and all other race organisers in the County have had imposed on us, with the assistance of UKA - this process is ongoing.
We are considering rescheduling the race, but this is dependent not only on the progress of the ongoing discussions but also on the availability of the necessary number of volunteers needed for the race to safely go ahead.
Competitors who have entered so far will be contacted individually about options available.
