Committee

The club committee meets regularly, and members are welcome to attend meetings, although only committee members are eligible to vote on committee matters. The club constitution can be downloaded via the link above.

Gloucester AC is committed to ensuring that all of our members  can enjoy athletics in a supportive and positive environment.  

 

Our Welfare Officers provide leadership in the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults within the club and act as the key points of contact for anyone needing to support or guidance. They also maintain relationships with the English Athletics welfare team and works closely with the club team managers and the Head Coach.

Note: the Club adopts the UKA and HCAF Child Safeguarding Policy and Child Safeguarding Procedures, and the UKA and HCAF Adult Safeguarding Policy and Adult Safeguarding Procedures. These were updated on 14 June 2021 and supersede the versions on our website below.

Grievance and Disciplinary Procedures

Any members having cause to complain about a grievance or serious misconduct of another member should inform the Club secretary in writing. The matter will be investigated by the Club Management Committee and appropriate action taken.

 

Should this not prove satisfactory to the complainant, the matter may be referred to England Athletics in accordance with the following documents.
